To compare the accuracy and quality of code generated by the two AI chatbots, I gave them a simple coding task to complete. I asked Gemini and ChatGPT to generate a simple to-do list app using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

While Gemini officially supports around 22 popular programming languages—including Python, Go, and TypeScript—ChatGPT’s language capabilities are far more extensive.
